Two windows in Jonesboro
Take the first one if you can. The Tuesday morning window is short and it is the same hour everybody is trying to load a bag.
The Forum, on Main Street in Jonesboro. The long window, and the one to aim for. Collect your packet, sit in on the optional rider meetings, and stay for the shakeout ride and the opening party on Main Street that evening. Note there is no luggage drop-off on Monday — bags go on the truck Tuesday morning at the start line.
At the start line in Jonesboro, an hour before the week starts. This is also the only luggage drop-off window. It works, but it is tight and it is busy. Only use it if Monday is impossible.
Helena. Gather on the afternoon of Thursday 8 October, collect your packet that afternoon or evening, and spend it at the King Biscuit Blues Festival.
One bag,
on the truck,
every morning
Your bag goes on the luggage truck at the venue each morning and is waiting at the next town when you roll in. Miss the truck and it stays where you left it.
A single bag per rider on the luggage truck, clearly tagged with your rider number.
Bags load at the venue in the morning. If you slept in a hotel, get your bag to the truck before you roll out.
Your bag is off the truck and in the bag area at the next town before the first riders arrive.
Anything you want mid-ride goes with you or in your jersey. The truck is not at the aid stations.
Cannot be transported. One bike per rider on the return truck, no exceptions.
If somebody drops you in Jonesboro and you are not taking the shuttle back, everything you need for the week has to be on the truck before the event begins.
Pickup is at
Storm Creek.
Gather at the Storm Creek Day-Use Area, next door to Helena, on the afternoon of Thursday 8 October for Half-Graveler packet pickup, then the week starts the right way — at the King Biscuit Blues Festival that afternoon and evening. You ride 9 and 10 October.
Free parking is available in Helena / Storm Creek for the duration, and the return shuttle brings you back to it on Sunday morning.
