The King (Biscuit) Never Disappoints

Thursday was a short day on the bike and a long afternoon and evening in town.
On the way into Helena, Gravelers enjoyed the low road and, well, that was about the best stretch of road many of y’all have ridden. At least that’s what you told us … but it could also have been the amazing cocktail served up at Delta Dirt Distillery.
We’ll go with both!
By two o’clock the shuttles were running into town for the King Biscuit Blues Festival. Eden Brent, the legend Lonnie Shields, and soon to be legend Sean “Mack” McDonald brought the house down, to say nothing of the dozens of amazing musicians on Cherry Street who were playing amazing music.
“This is what every ride should be. This is it. Amazing roads end with cocktails with friends and live music.” Thank you to Graveler Bryan Ogle, for summing today up so perfectly.
Tomorrow is a long one as we head to Stuttgart, which is a good thing. You’ll want that time to practice your duck calls.
Sleep well, Gravelers.
