Make it stand out.
Jasper - Marshal
Rugged and beautiful, this route is by far the most challenging route along the Arkansas Graveler 2024 course. The gravel is gold, and riders will truly feel “off the grid” in the best of ways, with a few resupplies sprinkled in along the ride.
This is an adapted route from the original 2024 Arkansas Graveler.
Pregame for this adventure with a proper breakfast at Ozark Cafe in downtown Jasper. The route heads east towards Marshall via Newton and Searcy County farm roads, cresting scenic ridgelines and dipping low into river bottoms. They could be bone dry or thigh-high depending on the time of year. Be sure to check conditions at Richland Creek (mile 36) before heading out, as that area can be tricky after heavy rain seasons. Arriving into Marshall, you’ll feel the warm hospitality of Searcy County. They welcome cyclists year round as a crossroads of the Arkansas High Country Race and the Ozark Grinder Trail. Fun Fact: Searcy County is the Chocolate Roll Capital of the World!

Route Difficulty
Ozark - Jasper: this is a challenging day ride if you aren’t accustomed to the climbing in Arkansas. Resupply is pretty scarce along this route, so fill up where you can! During the summer months, it’s important to ensure you have enough water for several hours of ride-time.
In addition, cell phone service can be spotty. You’ll get a bar or two, but when you drop into the hollers and valleys, you’ll most likely be without cell reception for most of this ride.
